Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your Durata account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app. There is no waiting period and the action is irreversible.
Delete from within the app
- Open Durata and go to More → Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete Account & All Data.
- Confirm both prompts.
This immediately and permanently removes:
- Your account and sign-in (the email/identity stored by our authentication provider).
- All workouts, exercises, routines, body metrics, nutrition, cardio, sleep and goals stored in the cloud.
- Your app settings and any Pro entitlement.
- Your programme ratings and starts, and any beta waitlist signup for your email address.
- All local data on the device (including progress photos, which never leave your device).
Deletion is immediate and irreversible: your data is removed from our live database straight away and cannot be restored, by you or by us. Encrypted database backups are kept on a rolling basis and residual copies age out of them within 30 days; they are not accessible to the app and are never used to bring an individual account back.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your account does not cancel a Durata Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google rather than by us, and only you can cancel one — in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancel there first and then delete, or you may keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
Prefer us to do it for you?
If you can't access the app, email support@getdurata.app from the address associated with your account and request deletion. We'll erase your account and data and confirm by reply, typically within a few days.
What about diagnostics & analytics?
Crash diagnostics (Sentry) are not tied to your account identity — personal information is switched off in the SDK — and contain no workout content.
Product analytics (PostHog) work differently. Once you sign in, usage events are tied to your account ID, which makes them pseudonymous, not anonymous. They record which screens and features you open, and never exercises, weights, reps, photos or body metrics. Deleting your account removes the account itself but does not automatically erase the analytics profile held against that ID — ask for that in your email to support and we will delete it too.
